Women’s Polytechnic College, Karaikalmedu, Karaikal was established in the year 2010 and governed by Pondicherry Institute of Post-matric And Technical Education (PIPMATE) in U.T. of Puducherry to fulfill the wish of Karaikal public and parents. This is one of the Govt. Polytechnic College offers three years Diploma Courses namely Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering . All the courses in this Polytechnic College are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) Chennai, TamilNadu.

The Women’s Polytechnic College campus offers quality education by providing enhanced technical skills in value addition by means of soft skills programme, Industrial visit, Industrial internship and placement assurance.
